What are the Early Signs and Symptoms of Breast Cancer in Women?

One of the leading cause of death of women in many part of the world is known to be breast cancer. Apart from HIV/Aids, High blood pressure, cardiac arrest and stroke, another life threatening diseases for women is breast cancer. The fact still remains that it’s not only for matured or older women but young females can also be affected by this cancerous cells.

According to research, I gathered that the best treatment for any type of cancer either lung cancer, colon cancer, skin cancer, anal, nose or breast cancer is to discover it early. Early detection of unusual growth in the body is the best prevention and cure for breast cancer since the cure seems to be expensive and not readily available.

That is why we came up with this post on the early signs and symptoms of breast cancer in women.
Now to start with, breast cancer may not show no real signs or symptoms at first, and this means its not like malaria or typhoid where the signs show up within few days. Breast cancer start with growth like lumps despite the fact that a lump too small to be felt by touching. Because of this, unusual adjustments in the breasts are not observed and only tend to be picked up when a screening mammogram (breast x-ray) is taken. Depending on what the screening shows, further test can be wanted.

According to research and more recent findings, the early or primary signs of cancer of the breast is a painless lump that can be felt within the breast but was never there before. Lumps that are tough and hard with choppy edges have a high opportunity of being grown to be breast cancers but I will like you to know that not all breast lumps have a tendency to be hard and strong. Occasionally a soft lump with rounded edges can also be determined which also can imply possible formation of breast cancer.

Early Signs and Symptoms of Breast cancer
1. Hard Lumps: If you are a woman either young or old, you can easily detect breast cancer by early detection of hard lumps. Either a tough lump or a smooth lump (with rounded edges) that may be found by way of contact in any a part of the breast. If any, please contact your doctor as early as possible.

2. Underarm lumps: Another early signs or symptom of breast cancer in females is underarm lumps. Any length lump or swelling which can appear inside the area of the underarm (armpit) should be taken seriously and not with levity.

3. Swelling of some part of the breast: If you notice any swelling in any part of the breast and you are not pregnant, please you need to see your doctor for it.

Swelling of all or any part of the breast can indicate an early signs of cancer.

4. Pains inside the breast: As a woman either young or old, you need to prevent your body from cancerous growth by noticing some early signs or symptoms like pains inside the breast. If you are not breast feeding or not pregnant, pain inside the breast need to be reported to a doctor or health expert as quickly as possible.

5. Nipple pain: Just like I said earlier, as a woman either you are a young lady or old, you also need to prevent your body from cancerous growth by noticing some early signs or symptoms in your nipples like pains inside the breast nipple. If you are not breast feeding or not pregnant, nipple pain should be reported to a doctor or health expert as quickly as possible. Or in a situation where the nipple is noticed to be turning inwards.

6. Unwanted nipple discharges: Another early signs and symptoms of breast cancer in women is unnecessary discharge from the nipple when you are not even a new mom or nursing mother.

7.  I also implore women to look into the area of thickening of the skin around the breast area. Thickening of the pores and skin on either the nipple or the breast can also be an early sign of breast cancer.

8. Redness on either the nipple or the breast: I also advice women either busty or not to look into the area of redness of the skin around the breast area. Redness of the pores and skin on either the nipple or the breast can also be an early sign of breast cancer.

9. Skin infection or dimpling of the breast should also be monitored by women. Any growth or skin infection should be reported to a doctor as fast as possible.

10. Any type of sudden or unexpected change inside the breast that appears to be odd can also be an early signs or symptoms of breast cancer in women and should be reported to a doctor as quick as possible.

I will like all women either young or old to know that breast cancer can strike at any age, although it is more located in women over the age of 50 years.

But, a self-examination of the breasts ought to be done regularly on and if any irregularities are seen, visit the physician immediately for an examination or test. Self-examination of the breast should be done and are frequently taken into consideration to be fine taken whilst inside the bathe, as the new water and cleaning soap make the pores and skin softer which makes it less difficult to discover any small lumps that may be present. Live healthily and say no to breast cancer. Thanks for reading.
